Business Link Northwest is an independent, free-to-use business support and information service providing relevant and up to date information for all businesses in the North West, and people thinking of starting their own company in the region.

The Government has streamlined and increased the level of support available, with a growing package of ‘Real Help for Business’ that can be accessed via Business Link Northwest. This includes small loans for business, grants for business investment and funding for training and development through the Train to Gain service.

As the economic downturn continues to bite, businesses can rely on Business Link Northwest to help them address the issues they are facing; from cash flow and marketing to training staff.

Financial support has had a boost through the launch of Business Link Northwest’s Access to Finance service, which diagnoses the financial needs of businesses, helps them develop funding strategies and can work with them to enhance their appeal to lenders and investors.

Recognising that businesses don’t just operate ‘9 to 5’, the support can be accessed in a number of ways; via a growing team of brokers who will meet with businesses face to face to help them move forward by linking business goals with practical solutions, via telephone from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and from 8am to 2pm at weekends and bank holidays, or through the award winning website.
