The Emerald-ISBE book series – Contemporary Issues in Entrepreneurship Research – was launched in 2010 and is edited by Professors Colette Henry & Susan Marlow. This exciting series seeks to explore issues of contemporary interest and importance to the entrepreneurial community of practice. The aim of the book series is to engage more directly with ISBE members by offering opportunities for publication and access to a high quality body of knowledge articulated within a dedicated set of texts.
Volume I – Innovating Women: Contributions to Technological Advancement – edited by Pooran Wynarczyk and Susan Marlow, focused on the scientific activities of women and their contribution to technology, society, and economic development . The book has already been positively reviewed in several entrepreneurship journals. Social enterprise is the theme selected for Volume II , which is currently in preparation under the leadership of Dr. Sarah Underwood and is due for publication in late 2012.
Proposals for themes are now being sought from potential editors/editing teams in relation to Volumes III and IV. The intention with this series is to draw mainly, but not necessarily exclusively, on papers presented at the ISBE conference, thus, proposed themes should relate to one or more of the conference tracks at the 2012 and 2013 conferences. If you are interested in proposing and editing a volume in this series, please send a one page outline and summary bio of the editor(s) to Colette Henry at chenry@rvc.ac.uk.
