Dinah Bennett

 
Dinah is Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at Durham University.

She researches and teaches nationally and internationally on marketing related issues and the concept of Networking and Relationship Management in relation to successful Business Development.

In 1999 Dinah founded an innovative project ‘Women into the Network’ (WIN) which was selected as the UK best practice initiative for promoting female entrepreneurship in a recent EU survey. This is now a Limited company owned and managed by female entrepreneurs.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. In 2005 Dinah won an individual Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion in recognition of her work promoting enterprise nationally and internationally. In 2006 Dinah was awarded  Confederation of British Industry First Woman corporate award for her work supporting female entrepreneurship.
