Your work will reach a large audience of academics, policy makers and practitioners from all over the world. Along with excellent publication opportunities, ISBE 2012 offers a real chance for your work to create genuine impact and inform change.
Networking is a key feature of the event and delegates are encouraged to make the most of the lunches, breaks and fabulous social events. Lively debate and discussion, sharing of best practice and forming beneficial relationships are all an integral part of the experience.
ISBE 2012 offers the chance to get valuable feedback on your own work from others in the field as well as access to over 250 presentations on the latest research. There are a range of expert workshops on offer for delegates.
A lively, cosmopolitan but also warm and friendly city with a rich history that offers an abundance of pubs, shops and activities makes Dublin the ideal choice for ISBE 2012. In fact there is so much on offer we have chosen some of the city’s most striking venues for the conference and socials so you need look no further for the craic!
The conference will take place at the famous GAA Croke Park Stadium, winner of the Best Conference Events Venue award at the Event Industry Awards 2011 and close to both the city centre and airport; the venue offers brilliant stadium or city views from each of its meeting and conference rooms.
The drinks reception will take place at the Old Jameson Distillery, a unique historic venue in the city centre where whiskey fans can learn about the seven stages of whiskey making and enjoy a sample of the well known drink. For those who don’t like whiskey there is plenty more on offer and the exposed beams and original features make this an unusual and atmospheric place to enjoy meeting and getting to know the other delegates.
The Gala Dinner and awards ceremony is always the most extravagant part of the conference and what better excuse for delegates to get glammed up than holding it in a castle! With original turrets and tapestries, ancient history is combined with contemporary elegance and style, making Clontarf Castle a strikingly magnificent venue. The Irish are famed for their hospitality, good food and entertainment, allowing delegates to relax and have fun.
