Qualitative Research in Entrepreneurship Workshop

The recent qualitative methodology workshop was a great success. Playing to a capacity crowd, five high profile presenters shared their thoughts and experiences regarding the positive and negative aspects of undertaking qualitative research; it was great to hear them sharing secrets about the research process but also revealing how they too, struggled on occasion. If volume of noise is any indicator of success, the breakout sessions went superbly well -  working in small groups facilitated by a presenter enabled all delegates to fully enter into the discussions. Of course, it was also a brilliant opportunity to network and make new contacts and friendships. We thank Tony, Jean, Monder, Sarah and Simon who made terrific presentations and of course, all the delegates for their input and enthusiasm. Finally, a big 'thank you' to Isobel O'Neil for organising everything and Nottingham University for generously hosting the event.
