The aims of this workshop are:
Those contributing to this event include Professor Dimo Dimov (Newcastle) Professor Mark Hart (Aston), Professor Stephen Roper (Warwick Business School) and Professor Mike Wright (Nottingham); each will make a short presentation after which the workshop will break out into small discussion groups of five/six delegates; Dr Kevin Mole (Warwick Business School) will also be contributing as a discussion group mentor. Accordingly, invaluable opportunities will be offered to researchers to engage with leading scholars who can assist and advise upon the development of their own work in a supportive and discursive context.
Given the interactive nature of the workshop and our aim to encourage dialogue and discussion, attendance will be strictly limited so early registration is advised. At registration, all delegates will be asked to include a short indication of the topic they would like to discuss further. Closer to the event, delegates will be asked to submit a one page summary of this issue which can then be shared with presenters in preparation for the group discussion. We would encourage doctoral candidates, early career researchers and more experienced academics to attend this workshop as it offers scope for debate between all of those currently engaged with quantitative research.
