Mr Stuart Anderson

 

Stu Anderson is Director of Shell LiveWIRE, the national youth enterprise scheme managed by The PNE Group and funded by Shell. He is also a part time PhD student based in the Centre for Knowledge, Innovation, Technology and Enterprise at the University of Newcastle.

Stu has been involved in all aspects of enterprise and entrepreneurship including setting up social enterprises to address food poverty, to designing guidelines for business advisers dealing with clients with mental health problems.  He has worked with large corporations, government departments, local authorities and enterprise agencies on a wide range of enterprise projects from research, to fund management. His research interests lie in graduates and the micro firm, and professional interests in the use of web 2.0 technologies in youth enterprise support.

He holds an MBA from Northumbria University is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Trustee/Director of The Union Society of Newcastle University and runs his own small business in France.
