Enterprise Support and Advice

ISBE actively seeks to engage directly with those organisations involved in enterprise support and advice. Though not an advisory body itself, ISBE is working towards more and more mutually valuable connections, with those who provide help and guidance to small business and entrepreneurs.

One of the ways this is achieved is through the annual conference which now has a dedicated category for “Practitioner Papers”. These are research papers whose findings enable those who engage directly with small businesses to highlight best practice in enterprise creation and development. ISBE also encourages the submission of case studies to the conference which ensures that the tightly focused analytical and strongly evidence based works that are of real value for the guidance of small business are featured at its events.

ISBE also works with its practitioner members through the ISBE Bulletin, which promotes their events and news items as well as keeping them up to date with the latest news and events in the small business field; through the e-magazine Enterprising Matters for which practitioner based articles and case studies are actively sought for publication
