The Education Sciences Special Issue, Vocational Pathways in Higher Education, is now open for submissions:

The Special Issue examines how higher education connects academic knowledge with professional practice, enterprise, entrepreneurship and employment. It positions vocational pathways as educational environments in which capability, entrepreneurial agency, professional identity and access to opportunity are developed.
Contributions relevant to ISBE members could address:
– enterprise and entrepreneurship education;
– entrepreneurial competencies, identity and agency;
– self-employment and venture-creation pathways;
– experiential and practice-based entrepreneurship learning;
– employer and ecosystem engagement;
– inclusive entrepreneurship education;
– entrepreneurial universities and regional innovation; and
– evaluation of enterprise-education models and outcomes.
The Special Issue welcomes empirical research, conceptual and theoretical papers, systematic reviews, comparative studies, policy analyses and scholarly practice-based case studies.
The manuscript submission deadline is 30 June 2027.
