The ECR Forum is delighted to offer four £250 travel grants to Early Career Researchers (ECRs) attending the ISBE 2025 conference in Glasgow.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply for these grants, you must:
- Be an Early Career Researcher (ECR)
- Hold either institutional or individual membership of ISBE
Selection Criteria
Priority will be given in the order:
- ECRs who are presenting at ISBE 2025 AND have not previously received an ECR Forum travel grant
- ECRs who are presenting at ISBE 2025 AND have received a previous grant
- ECRs who are not presenting (and not volunteering at the conference) but have not received a previous grant
- ECRs who are not presenting (and not volunteering at the conference) but have received a previous grant
How to Apply
Please submit a written application of no more than 500 words explaining how and why attending the conference will support your career and professional development.
Application deadline: 1st September
Notification date: 8th September
Post-Conference Requirement
Successful applicants will be asked to provide a brief write-up after the conference describing how it benefited their professional development. This will be used to promote future ECR Forum initiatives.
