Are you an ECR considering applying to ISBE RAKE fund? Then this session is for you!
This session is hosted by the ISBE ECR Forum, with Dr Shannon Harris. Dr Harris is a previous ISBE RAKE fund award winner. The research developed from the ISBE RAKE fund saw her and the research team win four awards at ISBE 2024, including the ISBE President’s Best Early Career Research Paper and Alistair Anderson Entrepreneurship and Regional Development Publication Prize for an ECR.
The session will offer practical guidance for early career researchers considering an application to the ISBE RAKE Fund. Drawing on my experience as a previous award holder, I’ll share what worked, how the fund’s flexibility can support both research and knowledge exchange, and the broader opportunities the funding has created. We’ll also discuss how to align your proposal with the fund’s aims and why even small amounts of funding can make a meaningful difference early in your research career.
The deadline for this year’s RAKE Fund is June 6th at 5pm.
