The ISBE ECR Forum is delighted to announce that they have awarded three travel grants of £250 each to support attendance at ISBE 2026, taking place in Cork on 5–6 November.
One of the grants has been specifically funded by the Entrepreneurship in Minority Groups SIG, providing up to £250 towards the recipient’s travel costs.

Dr. Regina Casteleijn-Osorno, University of Turku
Dr. Regina Casteleijn-Osorno works at the crossroads of entrepreneurship, disability studies, and visual qualitative methods at Turku University. She is a neurodivergent postdoctoral researcher with her work centering on how mother-entrepreneur-caregivers organize their business and home lives around neurodivergent child care needs rather than markets. Dedicated to making research accessible beyond academia, her work blends rigorous phenomenology, art-based methods like Lego Serious Play and Photovoice with community impact. She is published in entrepreneurial and business journals such as Business Research Quarterly, Journal of Business Venturing Insights as well as Disability and Society and Community, Work and Family. She balances her academic rigor with an unwavering devotion to Nick Cave, whose music provides the ideal soundtrack for embracing life’s beautiful, unorthodox, and complex boundaries.
Madiha Naveed, University of Sunderland in London
Madiha Naveed is a doctoral researcher in Business and Management at the University of Sunderland in London. Her research explores how environmental sustainability becomes embedded within European professional football, with particular attention to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), organisational processes and governance. Her work examines how football clubs translate sustainability commitments into operational practice and integrate environmental responsibility into organisational decision-making and long-term strategy. As an early-career researcher, Madiha was awarded the ISBE 2026 ECR Travel Grant to support her participation at the ISBE Annual Conference in Cork, where she will contribute to scholarly discussions on sustainability, responsible management, and organisational change. Her broader research interests lie at the intersection of sustainability, sport management, governance, and responsible organisational practice.
Olufunke Olawale, University of the West of Scotland
Olufunke Olawale is a doctoral researcher at the University of the West of Scotland, School of Business and Creative Industries, supervised by Dr Kingsley Omeihe. Her research examines institutional trust, distrust, and governance failure in comparative perspective across Nigeria and the United Kingdom, with a current focus on dual embeddedness and kinship trust among Nigerian diaspora entrepreneurs in the UK.
Alongside her doctoral work, she brings twelve years of practitioner experience across HR, independent business development consultancy for SMEs, and NHS governance. She holds an MSc in Human Resource Management from the University of Stirling and is an Associate Member of the CIPD.
Her paper “Trust as Reputation Work: How SMEs Manage Social Evaluation Across Institutional Contexts”, co-authored with Dr Kingsley Omeihe, received the Best Developmental Paper award in the International Business and Management track at the Academy for African Studies Annual Conference 2026.
