Description:
Entrepreneurship research is at a crossroads, trapped between two ambitions: rigour and relevance, which are often seen as irreconcilable aims. This is a false dichotomy, which has created unnecessary division and paralysis in our domain. We have sufficient tools at our disposal to resolve this situation. We aim to co-design an agenda for the future of entrepreneurship research, putting engaged scholarship at the centre of it. Entrepreneurship as a scholarly field is uniquely positioned to tackle the challenge. Entrepreneurial phenomena are always emerging, entrepreneurs continuously push the boundaries of the present reality to create better futures. Entrepreneurship scholars can leverage this energy and co-create meaningful knowledge, that is both conceptually elegant and practically transformative. The agenda we aim to co-design will serve as a springboard for these efforts.
If you are (or are interested in) undertaking engaged scholarship, doing research with meaning and impact, then sign-up to join like-minded individuals at the launch of this initiative.
