It is about committing to impact and making a difference for Ethnic Minority Businesses (EMBs) and the UK economy. We showcase how academics, corporations and business support agencies collaborate to implement findings of theCentre for Research in Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship’s (CREME) report ‘Time to Change: A Blueprint for Advancing the UK’s Ethnic Minority Businesses’. The report is the most comprehensive of its kind. It sets out ten evidence-based recommendations for advancing the growth potential of ethnic minority businesses (EMBs), including increasing their GVA contribution from the current £25 billion a year to £100 billion. Monder Ram (CREME), Sharniya Ferdinand (NatWest Bank) and Ian McLaughlan (Business Growth West Midlands) share how they are working together to develop a dynamic and inclusive business support ecosystem for EMBs.
