Rationale / Theme (40 mins) – “Emerging and developing trends in Qualitative Research – finding a scholarly voice to write about methods”. – How can we make qualitative inquiry (into Entrepreneurship) interesting and purposeful?
Our capacity to question and articulate can be viewed as an ongoing process, paying attention to new and existing methods of how we inquiry is to some degree how survive and make suitable adjustments to our emerging scholarly lives by offering insight to the world around us. For any researcher, every moment of everyday can become the subject of our curiosity and a point of study – indeed every aspect of our lives, the world in which we live and that of others in the world around. How we come to explore “human practice” in whatever guise we adopt, at the very basis involves questioning and dealing with what is discovered, through thoughtful processing and appropriate action, especially in our writing.
In this conversation we aim to re-discover, re-explore and re-engage with what “qualitive inquiry” means to us. We seek to uncover “practices” in regard to what it means to be curious, to write and publish the methods we use and develop as we uncover and gain insight into the world around us through the methods we use.
