Dr. Ana M. Romero-Martínez is an Associate Professor in Business and Entrepreneurship at Faculty of Economics and Business and Vice Dean for International and Institutional Affairs at Faculty of Commerce and Tourism, Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). She held visiting scholar positions at King’s College London, University of London (2015), SOAS, University of London (2016), Kingston University of London (Fellowship of Spanish Ministry, 2019) and University of Birmingham (2018, 2023). Her interest and involvement in entrepreneurship is in research and transferring the results to society through the relationship with firms and organisations and in education, teaching undergraduate and master students and supervising PhD students.
Ana’s research areas are entrepreneurship, corporate entrepreneurship, internationalisation and innovation. She has published her works in journals such as Journal of Business Research, International Business Review, Journal of World Business, Management International Review, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, Service Industries Journal or Service Business, and in books in editorials such as Springer, Prentice Hall or Pearson.
Ana is co-director of the UCM consolidated research group “Production and technologies of information and communication” and member of the RJC University research group “Business Strategy”. External academic member of the Centre for International Business Strategy and Decisions, Nottingham Trent University. Member of the editorial advisory boards of International Business Review and Team Performance Management. Academic head and advisor of the board of Amway Global Entrepreneurship Report and Database. Co-director of the Chair “Management and Coaching” (UCM-Coraops). Coordinator of British-Hispanic Chair “Queen Victoria Eugenia”, Faculty of Commerce and Tourism, UCM.
