Monday 27 April, 10h-13h (BST) via Zoom
This interactive online session will share practical strategies to manage students’ use of AI and strengthen your case discussions.
Are you concerned about the impact of AI on your case teaching? Many students already use it to prepare for discussions and complete written assignments. With careful guidance, AI can enhance their learning – but it requires thought to ensure it supports rather than distracts from the case method. This interactive online session will share practical strategies to manage students’ use of AI and strengthen your case discussions. You’ll also gain tips on how to make meaningful use of AI yourself to enrich your teaching.
By the end of this session, participants will:
- understand how to teach cases effectively knowing that students may use AI to prepare
- explore strategies to help students use AI in ways that support deeper learning
- gain confidence in using AI themselves
- exchange ideas on how AI can enhance their own case teaching.
Takeaways – participants will leave able to:
- guide students to use AI in ways that enhance, rather than diminish, their learning
- run productive case-based sessions, regardless of how students have used AI before, during, or after class
- apply AI productively in their own case teaching – and potentially beyond
Please note that the deadline for applications is midnight (GMT) on 22 April 2026.
