The ISBE African Entrepreneurship Community of Interest recently hosted a successful knowledge exchange event at theUniversity of the West of Scotland on The Role of Alternative Financing in African Entrepreneurship.
The event featured Chike Chukwuelue, Group Head of Equity Investments at the Bank of Industry, who shared insights into innovative financing models supporting entrepreneurship across Africa. The session attracted academics, students, entrepreneurs and practitioners. And generated engaging discussions on entrepreneurship and inclusive economic development.
Dr Kingsley Omeihe, Chair of the ISBE African Entrepreneurship COI and convener of the event, said: ‘Our aim is to create a platform that connects research, policy and practice while fostering meaningful conversations on the challenges shaping entrepreneurship across Africa.’
The event forms part of the Community’s ongoing commitment to promoting research and knowledge exchange on African entrepreneurship.
