An exciting role of Enterprise Executive is now available in the Converge team, providing an opportunity to play a key role in developing and growing Converge, the premium pan-Scotland entrepreneurship programme, and strengthening the pipeline of innovative new companies emerging from universities in the West of Scotland.
FTE: 0.43 (15 hours per week)

An exciting role of Enterprise Executive is now available in the Converge team. The position provides an opportunity to play a key role in developing and growing Converge, the premium pan-Scotland entrepreneurship programme, and strengthening the pipeline of innovative new companies emerging from Scottish academia.
You will be responsible for delivery of enterprise support activities and engagement with universities in the West of Scotland and other stakeholders within the entrepreneurship eco-system in Scotland as well as advising Converge applicants and participants.
With experience in commercialisation of research, you will have excellent interpersonal and presentational skills, with the ability to network effectively, excellent written and oral communications skills. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of technology transfer, including a background in a technical subject (e.g., life science, engineering, technology, etc.).
The postholder will works as part of the Converge team but will be hosted by the University of Strathclyde and will be required to perform duties across all universities based in the West of Scotland. The postholder will also need to travel to other areas of Scotland when required.
